Butterfly Effect

The Central Okanagan Hospice Association (COHA) is honoured to announce the return of our Butterfly Effect on Saturday, June 24th. We ask our community to join us in coming together to remember, connect and celebrate. The magnificent release of the butterflies is an opportunity for our community to release a butterfly in honour and memory of a loved one who has died.

The Butterfly Effect will take place at Bertram Creek Regional Park in Kelowna where we will gather to remember and release over 500 butterflies. The event begins at 10:30am with registration. There will be a short opening ceremony followed by a group release of the butterflies. The event will wrap up around 12:30pm.

There will be children’s activities, a memory board, light refreshments and snacks to enjoy.  Please dress accordingly as this is an outdoor event; plan to bring a lawn chair or blanket if you would like to relax on the grass.

This meaningful remembrance is for all ages and we ask our community to join us as we connect together to remember the loved ones we have lost.
