Rooted in both nostalgia and nature, this enchanting home curated by homeowner Kim tells a story of Christmas past, present, and future beneath the soft, cozy glow of candlelight.

Every corner offers a glimpse into treasured traditions and timeless beauty. Handmade garlands, hand-tied bows, heirloom ornaments, and vintage treasures fill the space with a sense of history and heart. Collections of keepsakes and “memories under glass” evoke the joy of childhood, the comfort of family gatherings, and the quiet wonder of winter’s magic.

The warm, moody palette sets a rich, inviting tone — yet, in true maximalist spirit, Kim has woven in a few unexpected surprises that delight and inspire. At the front entry, she has collaborated with Kate from Rambling Wild Family Farm to create a breathtaking doorway of foraged materials, showcasing the raw beauty of the winter season.

This home captures the very essence of the holidays – where the spirit of Christmas lingers in every room, and the warmth of holidays long past blends seamlessly with the wonder of those yet to come.

West Coast Calm

Bev & Joe Arduini

This inviting West Coast Contemporary home strikes the perfect balance between comfort and sophistication. Designed with a minimalistic holiday aesthetic, the space glows with soft tones of teal, white, silver, and gold. Natural elements – warm woods, fresh boughs, and organic textures all add an effortless sense of calm and authenticity.

Throughout the space, you’ll see the creative talents of both Bev and Joe. Joe, a skilled wood artisan, has crafted many of the wooden pieces on display, including the showstopping dining table that serves as a true centrepiece of his work. His artistry also shines through in the handcrafted bowls, tables, and charcuterie boards found throughout. Bev, a talented watercolour painter, adds her own artistic touch with her beautiful paintings- some displayed in the main living areas and others showcased in her serene studio on the upper level.

A 9-foot Christmas tree anchors the living room, drawing the eye and setting the tone for the season. Throughout the home, carefully curated tabletop vignettes echo the same palette and textures, creating a cohesive flow of festive elegance. The result is a home that feels modern yet cozy – where understated beauty and the warmth of the holidays come together in perfect harmony.

  • Bev Arduini – Watercolour Artist & our gracious homeownerDaniel DearbornDaniel has been creating stunning, original paintings for more than four decades. His colourful and passionate pieces are often born from his dreams and visions, giving them a truly unique spirit. Having admired Daniel’s art for years, the homeowners are delighted to feature both the pieces they’ve collected, and a selection of new works graciously lent to be showcased throughout their home for this holiday tour.

Woodland touches and handcrafted details bring the outdoors in, creating a seamless blend of sophistication and heart. Upstairs, the children’s playroom sparkles with playful charm – its tree a festive nod to boyhood wonder and the excitement of Christmas morning.
