Twice the Care, Twice the Hope.

This is your moment to double your impact and help bring compassion and comfort to more people in need.

Until February 2026, Roger Gale is generously matching all donations to support the Central Okanagan Hospice Association, up to $110,000.

The need is real — and it’s growing faster than we ever imagined. For three consecutive years, requests for hospice and grief support have surged by 20% annually. We cannot meet this rising demand without you. Donors like Roger have already stepped forward — now it’s your turn. Your donation today will help us reach our $110,000 goal and ensure compassionate care for every person in need.

Together, we multiply compassion to support:

    • Grief and bereavement programs for children, youth, adults, and families.
    • Comfort and dignity for people at end-of-life through companionship, vigil and sharing legacy stories supported by trained and compassionate volunteers.
    • Wellness programs to bring an integrated approach to care and support.
    • Education and awareness helping our community talk about living, dying, and grieving with compassion.
    • Volunteer training to ensure every person receives care grounded in empathy and belonging.

Meet Our Generous Donor

When Roger’s wife, Diana, passed away, he found himself lost in grief. A neighbour introduced him to the Central Okanagan Hospice Association (COHA), where he received the compassion and care he needed to begin healing.

Through COHA’s grief programs, walking group, counselling and wellness services, Roger discovered peace and connection. “COHA wasn’t just offering a service — they offered answers,” he says.

Today, Roger has come full circle — from client to donor to volunteer, companioning others during their dying time. His generosity of $110,000 is helping ensure others receive the same comfort and care he once did.

“I give because COHA helped me restart my life. Now, I want others to know they’re not alone.”

Roger’s story embodies The Power of Giving ×2 — how one act of kindness can ripple outward, multiplying hope and compassion for our entire community.
