Her journey in the world of design began at a remarkably young age, manifesting in a childhood habit of constantly rearranging furniture in her family home – an early sign of her innate talent for spatial organization and aesthetic harmony.
Throughout her life, Anjie has worn many hats – she’s been a devoted mother, a successful entrepreneur, a supportive coach, and a committed volunteer for various causes close to her heart. Pamela Turgeon opens her beautiful Kettle Valley home this holiday season, sharing not only her festive spirit but also her inspiring story of turning personal tragedy into community purpose. As co-owner of Kettle Valley Pub on Main and co-founder of Parade with a Purpose, Pamela embodies the true meaning of giving back.
After losing her son to addiction, Pamela channelled her grief into creating positive change. She established Parade with a Purpose, now celebrating its fifth year, a Christmas parade that brings holiday cheer while raising crucial funds and awareness for youth addiction recovery. The proceeds support The Bridge Youth and Family Services Society’s initiative to build a recovery house for youth aged 12-18 in Kelowna.
Pamela’s commitment to community support extends beyond addiction awareness. Despite having no formal training in design, Regina’s love for home decor has been a lifelong journey, dating back to her childhood days of cutting out pictures of dream homes from the Sears catalogue. This early fascination has blossomed into a deep-seated passion that has driven her to continually refine her eye for design through years of hands-on experience and self-study.
Over the years, Reg has amassed an impressive collection of Christmas decorations, each piece carefully chosen to contribute to her vision of the perfect holiday home. Her enthusiasm for the season is evident in every corner of her decorated space, where she skillfully blends nostalgia with contemporary touches to create a truly magical Christmas atmosphere.
