Thank you for purchasing your ticket to Homes for the Holidays! This festive fundraiser provides a big dose of Holiday inspiration and an opportunity to support the Central Okanagan Hospice Association (COHA).
The email confirmation you received when you made your purchase is your ticket.
A breakdown of the ticket/s purchased can be found at the bottom of your email confirmation.
Please present your confirmation letter to Homes for the Holidays Staff & Volunteers upon arrival at the first home on your chosen tour route. You will receive a wristband and shoe bag in exchange for showing your “ticket”.

You may tour the homes in whichever order you like.
Homes for the Holidays is a self-guided tour of six private homes, all decked out for the Holiday Season. The homes are decorated by the homeowners, by a designer, or a combination of both working together creatively. Each home is unique in architectural design and in Holiday décor ad theme. In addition to touring the homes, you’ll also enjoy music and Holiday shopping opportunities from local artists and artisans at each stop.

Please refer to the links below to find all information about each of the featured homes, the designers, and some tips to ensure your tour is as festive and enjoyable as possible. Please also refer to the Homes for the Holidays Waiver to familiarize yourself with the terms and conditions of participation in this event.
Reminder: Transportation from home-to-home is not included; washroom facilities in the private homes are not available for use. All tour tickets are non-refundable.
In consideration of being granted access to the various properties that make up the Homes for the Holidays event (the “Event”), the ticket holder (the “Ticket Holder”) personally assumes all risks associated with such access and, on its own behalf and on behalf of its executors, administrator, heirs, next of kin and representatives, hereby agrees to waive any and all claims against and to hold harmless, release, indemnify, and agrees not to sue all participants in the Event, each individual property owner participating in the Event, the organizers of the Event and the Central Okanagan Hospice Association (collectively, the “Released Parties”) for any injury, INCLUDING DEATH, LOSS, THEFT, PROPERTY DAMAGE OR EXPENSE, WHICH THE TICKET HOLDER MAY SUFFER, ARISING IN WHOLE OR IN PART OUT OF ATTENDING THE EVENT, DUE TO ANY CAUSE WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THOSE CLAIMS BASED ON ANY RELEASED PARTY’S ALLEGED OR ACTUAL NEGLIGENCE, GROSS NEGLIGENCE OR BREACH OF ANY CONTRACT AND/OR EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OR BREACH OF ANY STATUTORY OR OTHER DUTY OF CARE, INCLUDING IN BRITISH COLUMBIA ANY DUTY OF CARE UNDER THE OCCUPIERS LIABILITY ACT, R.S.B.C. 1996, C. 337. THE TICKET HOLDER UNDERSTANDS THAT NEGLIGENCE AND GROSS NEGLIGENCE INCLUDES FAILURE ON THE PART OF ANY RELEASED PARTY TO TAKE REASONABLE STEPS TO SAFEGUARD OR PROTECT THE TICKET HOLDER FROM THE RISKS, DANGERS AND HAZARDS OF ATTENDING THE EVENT.
By attending the Event, the Ticket Holder acknowledges and agrees that the Ticket Holder is aware and freely accepts that the Event and its related activities, involves inherent risks, dangers and hazards to their person and property including, without limitation, injury, illness and disability howsoever caused, including dismemberment, allergic reaction, falls, slips, soft-tissue injuries, over-exertion, interaction with participants, volunteers, organizing staff or other members of the public, negligence, gross negligence and/or willful misconduct, including, without limitation, the failure on part of a Released Party to take reasonable steps to safeguard or protect the Ticket Holder or its property from the risks, dangers and hazards of participating in the Event. KNOWING THESE RISKS, THE TICKET HOLDER FREELY ACCEPTS AND FULLY ASSUMES ALL SUCH RISKS, DANGERS AND HAZARDS, WHETHER OR NOT DESCRIBED ABOVE, KNOWN OR UNKNOWN, INHERENT OR OTHERWISE AND THE POSSIBILITY OF PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH, PROPERTY DAMAGE AND LOSS RESULTING THEREFROM.
The Ticket Holder agrees that any and all claims for injury, death and/or loss regarding an alleged incident shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia and all disputes and claims arising out of this Release Agreement will be referred to the courts of the Province of British Columbia.
Here are some tips to help make your tour as enjoyable as possible. Remember that you can tour the homes in any order! Please treat them gently as you would your own.
Tickets/Wristbands
- The email confirmation you received when you made your purchase is your ticket.
- A breakdown of the ticket/s purchased can be found at the bottom of your email confirmation. See example below.
- Present this confirmation to Homes for the Holidays Staff & Volunteers when you arrive at the first home on your chosen tour route.
- You will receive a wristband and shoe bag upon presentation of your ticket.
- Keep your wristband on at all times while on the tour, you will present your wristband to be permitted entry at every home you visit following your first home.
- If you purchased multiple tickets, the confirmation email you received is valid for all in your group.
- Please ensure your entire group arrives and checks in at your first home together.
Transportation & Parking
- Ticket holders are required to provide their own transportation for this self-guided tour.
- If possible, we recommend carpooling to help control parking overload on residential roads. Please also be respectful by not blocking driveways.
- There is no order to visit the homes, please select homes at random.
- Be prepared to walk a few blocks, parking in front of the homes will be very limited.
- Please refer to parking tips for each of the homes; each location has its own instructions.
While Visiting the Homes
- Dress for the weather! You will be spending short amounts of time outdoors.
- Some homes have steep driveways; make sure to read the notes on each home for alerts or special considerations for access.
- Watch your footing, especially if we’ve experienced recent snow.
- You will be asked to remove your shoes at each home and will be provided a bag for your shoes. Please keep it for use at each home.
- We recommended wearing easy slip-on, slip-off shoes with socks.
- Washrooms are not available in the homes.
